.NET Development
- Analyze business requirements.
- Document, design, develop, and test all coding elements.
- Provide effort estimates and prioritize tasks.
- Work with team members in an open fast paced environment with dynamic task assignment and tight deadlines.
- Troubleshoot identified defects.
- Provide technical support to business and testing team during testing phases.
- Ability to work in an application and maintenance support environment.
Mandatory Requirements
- 4+ years of IT experience
- 4+ years of .Net development experience - ASP.NET, VB.NET or C# NET, MS SQL.
- 4+ years of Source Code Management System experience (Microsoft VisualSource Safe, Microsoft Team Foundation Server)
- 3+ years of automated unit test experience (Nunit or equivalent)
- 1+ years of reporting tool experience (Crystal Reports or equivalent)
- Strong debugging/problem solving skills
- Database knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2003-2008
- Operating Systems (Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server)
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Desirable Requirements
- MCSD or MSAD certifications in .NET, BizTalk Server 2004 development and support
- Experience application programming interfaces WCF and/or MVC
- Scripting Language experience (PowerShell, Nant, MSBuild, WIX)
- Experience with virtual machine software (VM Ware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with Microsoft Biztalk or other ETL data warehousing tools.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and Reporting Services
- Experience with java script, jQuery and/or Ajax.
- Experience with Windows installer, Install Shield or any other installation program
- Experience with hosting models (IIS 6 & 7)
- Experience with integration tools (Cruise Control .Net, Team Foundation Server, Final Builder)
- Alberta Public Sector/Alberta Advanced Education and Technology IT related work experience.
Education
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and certification
