3D printing is something that is taking off and becoming main stream. From printing bases on the moon to replacing a part from a 67 Chevy 3D printing is providing the answer.
There are a few companies [1] [2] that have put forth the idea of printing a base on the moon using “contour printing”
Red Deer College has a great 3D printing program as part of their curriculum. They will even print and ship any part you can imagine for a modest sum. They already do it for the oil and gas industry.
What’s next in 3D printing? Come out to a Digital Alberta event and let’s talk about all things digital. You might find some innovation.
