This week was a busy time for the technology community in Alberta. Starting off with the TechRev Innovator Awards where eleven award winners were recognized by industry. Digital Alberta held two launch parties this week, one on Monday in Edmonton that followed the Mobile Monday Edmonton event, and then again in Calgary on Wednesday.
We welcomed nearly 100 guests between the two events! Enthusiasm was high and it was great to see familiar faces and be introduced to new ones! We are looking forward to an exciting Fall/Winter line up for Digital Alberta! The board is excited to officially welcome Stacey Perlin to our team as Digital Alberta Project Manager and we welcome you to stop to chat with her at AcceleratorYYC if you are in Calgary, or set up a time to meet when she is in Edmonton at the Mercer Building with Guru Digital Arts College. In addition to partners such as AcceleratorYYC, we have joined forces with Startup Calgary to co-present Mobile Monday Calgary (MoMoYYC) and with the Mobile Monday Edmonton group (MoMoYEG).
