It has been an awesome year! As our industry is continuing to flourish in a dynamic and vibrant manner, so is Digital Alberta! From the launch of our new website and weekly newsletter last fall to our thought-leading Panels on the converging worlds of film, television and digital media and then onto the disruption of the publishing industry by new technologies. From our PR 101 Lunch and Learn series to our Workshops on changes to copyright and IP laws as well as mobile marketing. From our Mobile Innovation Showcase to our Alberta Hub Showcase at the Banff World Media Festival and the Global Petroleum Show. From our partner programs with Global Game Jam, the Book Publishers Association of Alberta (ABPA), the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association (AMPA), the Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA) and Oil and Gas Magazine. And finally to our premier event the Digital Alberta Awards! It has been an incredible year of growth, new partnerships, new industry sectors and new sponsors! But mostly it has been a great year to showcase our members through all of these activities!
Alberta is innovating, creating and leading in the digital media sector and we at Digital Alberta are super excited and honored to be a part of that!
