Job Description
This developer works with the team to understand the customer's business needs and is involved in the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment and maintenance phases of system development.
Ideally the right candidate will have experience in developing dynamic web sites with a good grounding in all associated areas such as server/network maintenance and configuration (Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008) , IIS7 & SQL Server 2008.
Core Skills Required
- Microsoft .Net Framework
- ASP.Net, C#
- HTML/DHTML/CSS/Javascript/JQuery
- Microsoft MVC 3 (nice to have)
- Windows Forms or WPF (nice to have)
Software/Application Knowledge
- Visual Studio .NET 2008/2010
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc)
- Microsoft IIS 6/7
Education & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in a computer related program
- 1+ years experience
Soft Skills
- Must be a quick learner
- Motivated and results-driven, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Enjoy working in a small team environment and collaborating with our web designers on architecture and design.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced & dynamic small company environment with a flexible and positive attitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
