Digital Alberta hosted a networking event in Lethbridge last Wednesday. Ron Thiele, President of Xpan Interactive, Rene Smid, Digital Alberta’a Executive Director and Leanne Elias, Digital Alberta Director and U of L professor, spoke to a crowd of 40 at a very well-received event. The audience was primarily students at the various new media programs in Lethbridge and Ron shared his insights of what to expect after graduation, what the make-up is of the Digital Media Ecosystem in Alberta and how to get engaged in the extensive programs and events that Digital Alberta offers. Because of the great success of the event, Digital Alberta’s goal is to make this an ongoing program in Lethbridge.Huge thanks to the staff at Henotic and to Priscilla Patel, U of L student for organizing the event!
