Digital Alberta is pleased to offer a mentorship program to our members. Students studying in the digital technology field often have acquired technical skills and knowledge in their specialties, yet require practical skills and "hands on" experience once they enter the workplace. This program is an excellent opportunity for students to develop the necessary skills to assist in their transition from being strong students to successful employees and entrepreneurs. The mentorship program is great for professionals working in the industry to share their knowledge, skills and experience with students as well to provide employers with recruitment opportunities.

Mentorship is a great way to meet and learn from skilled, experienced professionals working in your field. The knowledge acquired during your studies is the foundation required for your profession. School however does not always provide the “hands on” experience needed to excel as a professional, entrepreneur and innovator. The mentorship program is a fantastic way to build “hands on” experience, knowledge and skills required for a successful career while you are still in school.
