PODIUM Ventures is kicking off the Calgary Stampede centennial year by sponsoring an event like no other.
Eight startups from the Calgary area will be selected to pitch in front of an esteemed panel of judges, win over investors and entertain guests. Keeping true to the spirit of the west, each startup will be given 80 seconds to rope their way to the top, proving why their deal is worthy of the coveted pitch rodeo trophy.

The top three startups will receive their choice of great prizes including:
-‐ Two tickets to Canada House at SXSW 2013 to pitch internationally
-‐ Opportunity to pitch your startup in front of Venture Alberta to get funding -‐ Visual business model session with Business Instincts Group to hone your business plan
Startups will be selected based on ideas, execution and entertainment value.
