Recruitment GamesCom 2012

August 15 – 17
Cologne, Germany

Why attend?
GamesCom is the world's largest interactive entertainment tradeshow, and follows directly on the heels of Game Developers Conference Europe (GDC). The show is growing; in 2011, the number of business visitors at GamesCom rose again to 21, 000 from 70 countries. The number of Canadian companies exhibiting or attending has increased two years running, with an increase expected again in 2012.

The Europe, Middle East, and Africa video games market accounts for just over a third of the global market, comparable to the North American market.

Canada, provincial partners, and Canadian companies will exhibit in Hall 4.2.

Government services
Canada and the provincial partners will provide the following services free of charge to Canadian companies:

  • Meeting space
  • Pre-show matchmaking
  • Company profile in Canada brochure and on trade commissioner website
  • Networking reception

If you are interested in walking the show or exhibiting on the Canada stand, please contact Jane Humberstone, Alberta International Relations, Jane.Humberstone@gov.ab.ca or 780.427-6967.
