This work study program provides the opportunity to assist resident artists and thematic residency participants with unique, cutting-edge developments and projects that align with the direction of Film & Media's research program. Technologies and methods explored in the research program include participatory networks, tangible and organic interfaces, artistic microelectronics, and virtual and augmented environments. Our research labs include facilities such as physical computing environments, multi-surface stereographic displays, large scale touch and interactive screens, mobile devices, and hobby microcontrollers such as Arduino.

Are you creative and passionate about telling stories on film? The Marketing & Communications Department of The Banff Centre is looking for a summer videographer to work with Marketing & Communications and Film & Media team members to create video content that communicates the stories behind the Banff Summer Arts Festival and The Banff Centre.
